Unity in religion.

I took this religion class to help me understand all the people in the world that are so foreign and alien to me when in fact I've come to realize that while there are differences we are all basically the same. We have similar needs, hopes, and deserve each others respect. I actually plan to make a website (its what a I do for a living) that explains each religion relative to your own to help everyone realize how similar we are and help everyone relate to one another. It's difficult to hate or judge others when you can see through their eyes and understand their position.
I think religion can be used to unite just as easily as it can be used to cause violence especially considering unity and peace are the cornerstones of most religion.
