Inherant value in abstract creation...

body:

The other day I achieved something amazing, almost inexplicably and impossibly wonderful and skillful. Unfortunately it has no inherent value, you cannot feed anyone with it or sell it for for any amount of money, it has no physical presence, could not be predicted, and it only existed for an instant, yet it was a magical moment that I hope I never forget. A moment where I exceeded my normal abilities and in that instant not only did everything make sense but I felt that I could do anything, that anything was possible.

Those moments where we transcend what we think is possible are quite possibly the most truly valuable thing we can achieve as human beings and we should strive for them and search for them with religious fervor. Perhaps most importantly we should not let what others try to tell us is valuable get in the way of pursuing our personal dreams and through them these magical moments of transcendence.
